Jimmy Norman

Jimmy Norman (August 12, 1937 – November 8, 2011)

Rhythm and Blues and Jazz Musician and Songwriter, Jimmy Norman, did session work with Jimi Hendrix and composed songs that was recorded and performed by the Rolling Stones, Bob Marley and Johnny Nash. He was a Producer and Touring member of the Doo-Wop Band, The Coasters. He lived in poverty for years but was helped back on his feet by the Jazz Foundation of America.
