The Wild Magnolias

The Wild Magnolias

Mardi Gras Indian Tribe (African American carnival revelers in New Orleans who dress up for Mardi Gras in suits influenced by Native American ceremonial apparel) and Funk musical act, The Wild Magnolias, had their best period during the 1970's. Some of their unreleased 1970's material were released in 2013 and the Band has since returned to recording. They remain active; please take a listen here and have a nice Wednesday: Smoke my peace pipe (smoke it right) and Handa Wanda
