Norma Fraser (St. Andrew, Jamaica)

Ska /Rocksteady /Reggae Singer and Songwriter, Norma Fraser, was a school teacher before becoming a performer. She began releasing music in 1961 and is credited with teaching Rita Marley how to sing. She scored hits during the 1960's, but took a break from music in the 1970's. She has since returned and remains active.
