Damita Jo DeBlanc (August 5, 1930 – December 25, 1998)

Actress, Comedian and Lounge Music Performer, Damita Jo, worked as a featured vocalists on Albums by other Acts (Steve Gibson and The Red Caps) during the 1950's and scored solo hits during the 1960's. She had stints performing  with Ray Charles, Count Basie, Lionel Hampton, Billy Eckstine and others) and toured with Red Foxx. She died from a respiratory illness in 1998.
