Reggae Thursdays: Steel Pulse

Steel Pulse

Reggae Band, Steel Pulse, was formed in England in 1975, after two future members were inspired by Bob Marley and the Wailers' "Catch A Fire"  Album. They gained a record deal with Island Record's after touring with Burning Spears in the 1970's. The Band released Roots Reggae material and many of their older releases have become regarded pieces. They remain active; please take a listen here and Happy Reggae Thursday: Kibudu Mansetta and Abuku, Nyah love, Ku Klux Klan (1978), Handsworth Revolution, Prodigal son, Prediction, Macka Splaff (1979), Earth Crisis (full Album), True Democracy (full Album) and Steppin out
