Reggae Thursdays: Carlene Davis

Carlene Davis (born c.1953 Colonels Ridge, Clarendon Parish , Jamaica )

Jamaican Gospel and Reggae Singer, Carlene Davis, began her career in the 1970's and gained popularity in the 1980's with many Reggae hits. She lived in England at the age of 14 years old and played Guitar in a Band. She later moved to Toronto, Canada, where her career began; this led to her return to Jamaica. She changed to Gospel Music in the 1990's after surviving cancer.
