Hard Bop Group, MJT+3, was led by Jazz Drummer, Walter Perkins They released some Albums between the late 1950's and early 1960's. The Group disbanded in 1962 and the members went on to successful solo runs. The Singers: Mable Lee

Mable Lee (August 2, 1921 – February 7, 2019)

Jazz Tap Dancer, Singer and Entertainer, Mable Lee, was a child prodigy whom began her career at aged 4 years old and became a seasoned veteran by age 19, performing at the Apollo Theater in the US and the Palladium in London. She appeared in many short films during the 1940's and was very active on Broadway into the 1950's. She remained active up to 2018 and died in 2019 at aged 97 years old. Albert Nicholas (May 27, 1900, New Orleans , Louisiana – Sept 3, 1973, Basel , Switzerland )

Jazz Reed Player, Albert Nicholas, worked from the 1910's onward alongside King Oliver, Red Allen, Louis Armstrong and others. He spent a few years in East Asia and Egypt during the 1920's, returned to America for a few years, but permanently moved to France in 1953. Cecil "Sonny" Bradshaw CD (28 March 1926 – 10 October 2009)


Clarinet, Trombone, Saxophone, Fugelhornand, Piano Player, Bandleader, Trumpeter, Broadcaster, Promoter and The "Dean of Jamaican Music", Sonny Bradshaw, was active as a major figure in Jamaican music for over 60 years. He was a self taught musician and he also taught himself to read music. His 7-Piece Orchestra was renowned for recreating the sound of a 14-Piece Orchestra. He was also a Teacher, Journalist, a Pioneer in the exposure of Jamaican music on radio and founded The Tastee Talent Contest in 1979, which launched the career of many (Yellowman, Papa San, Mad Cobra and others).
