Billy Branch

William Earl Branch (born October 3, 1951)

Harmonica Player and Chicago Blues Singer, Billy Branch, began his tenure in the 1970's, after learning the harmonica during the 1960's and completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He also
founded the Sons of Blues in the 1970's and worked as a studio musician on over 200 recordings by various Artist (Lou Rawls, Sylvia Johnson, Taj Mahal, Willie Dixon and others). He won many awards including an Emmy Award.
