Buddy Miles

George Allen "Buddy" Miles Jr. (September 5, 1947 – February 26, 2008)

Composer and Producer, Buddy Miles, was a founding member of the Electric Flag and was also a member of Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsys. He worked from his teenage years as a drummer for Rhythm and Blues and Soul acts such as Ruby & the Romantics, The Delfonics, Wilson Pickett, Jimmy Hendrix and many others. He collaborated with many over the years and released material with his Bands. He died in 2008 of congestive heart failure.
