The Singers: Patrice Holloway

Patrice Yvonne Holloway (March 23, 1951 – October 3, 2006)

Soul and Pop Singer and Songwriter, Patrice Holloway, is the younger sister of Brenda Holloway. She recorded unreleased tracks for Motown Records and went on to release solo material on Capital Records. She did back up vocals for many alongside her sister, most notable on the song, A little help from my friends ( 1968 by Joe Cocker and The Grease Band) . She was the singing voice of Valerie in the 1970 Josie and the Pussycats television series. She died of an heart attack at aged 55 years old in 2006.
