Funk and R&B Band, The Brothers Johnson, had hits between the mid 1970's and early 1980's. They backed Bobby Womack and The Supremes in their early years and worked on Albums by Billy Preston. They split in 1982, but had subsequent team ups over the years. Band member Louis Johnson died in 2015.
