Tribute Mondays: Robert Petway

Robert Petway (possibly Oct. 18, 1907 – possibly May 1978)

Blues Singer and Guitarist, Robert Petway, recorded only 16 Songs, but influenced John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix and others. There is little available information about his life and no one is sure when he died. He is referred to by some sources as the writer of the song "Catfish Blues".
