Tribute Mondays: Tommy McClennan

Tommy McClennan (January 4, 1905 – May 9, 1961)

Delta Blues Singer and Guitarist, Tommy McClennan, is remembered for his energetic and rough style of the Blues. He worked for a short time between 1939 and 1942, but a number of his songs has been covered by others (Albert King, Bob Dylan and others). He died in 1969 from Broncopneumonia; thanks for your contribution Mr. McClennan you are appreciated. Please take a listen here and have a great Monday: I'm a Guitar King, Whiskey head woman, Cross cut saw blues, New Highway no. 51 and Bottle it up and go
