Carl Weathersby

Carlton Weathersby (born 24 February 1953, Jackson, Mississippi )

Electric Blues Vocalist, Guitarist and Songwriter, Carl Weathersby, accompanied Albert King and Billy Branch after beginning his career in the 1970's. He was taught the  Guitar by Albert King after meeting him by chance and playing him one of his songs and performing it  with many mistakes. He worked in the steel mill, was a Prison Guard and Police Officer and served in the US Army from 1971 to 1977 during the Vietnam War. His solo career began in the mid-1990's and he remains active.
